Ground transportation from SJU can be done in two ways: Metropolitan Buses Authority or using a Taxi cab. The best way to travel around SJU is using taxi cab transportation. It is personalized and gets you exactly where you want. But if you prefer not to use a taxi cab, you may use the AMA system (MBA in Spanish). Using AMA's (MBA buses name) is very simple. There are two bus stops at the airport, one at each terminal. Rates are also very low and using this method of transportation is very easy. Here is a list of the buses and taxis that serve the airport and fares:

AMA to Rio Piedras, use B-40. Fare one-way: 0.25¢

AMA to Isla Verde, use C-45. Fare one-way: 0.25¢

AMA to San Juan, use A-5. Fare one-way: 0.25¢

Taxi Turístico (Toursti Taxi). Fixed rate to Isla Verde - $8.00; Condado - $12.00; San Juan Piers (Old San Juan) - $16.00.
